Support our mission, help save lives

We are a 501(c)3 organization sustained through donations from individuals and businesses in the communities we serve. We are independent of federal, state, or government funding. It costs over $30,000/month to offer the long-term housing, food, and programming it takes to make a lasting change in the lives of our residents. We have always and will always be completely supported and funded by our community. All donations are tax-deductible and we will be happy to supply you with receipts upon request.

CORPORATE MATCHING

Double or even triple your gift to The Edna House by making a corporate matching gift. Many companies will match their employees’ charitable contributions. Contact your employer’s human resources office to see if your gift will be matched.

DONATION OF GOODS

The Edna House accepts new or gently used women’s seasonal clothing and shoes. While we appreciate all donations, we ask that you limit your giving to 2 bags. For any questions, please contact Sarah Murphy at The Edna House office.

While monetary donations are sincerely appreciated, we do have a list of critical need items:

  • Boxed Mac and Cheese, pasta and pasta sauce, Instant Mashed Potatoes, Salad dressings and other condiments.

  • Dairy products including milk, butter, and cheese.

  • Big Books and 12 x 12 Books (no paperback novels, please)

  • Notebooks

  • Tide laundry pods (easier than bottles of liquid detergent to hand out)

  • Cleaning products such as Murphy’s Oil Soap, BONA floor cleaner, bathroom cleaner, bleach, sponges, mops, and large black garbage bags

  • Coffee, creamer and sugar

  • Paper towels, toilet paper, and tampons (No pads)

  • Gift Cards, Bus Passes

  • Flash drives for Job Development

  • Bottles of shampoo and conditioner (Please, no trial sizes or used products)

  • Toothpaste and toothbrushes

  • Deodorant and razors

  • Body wash and loofahs (Please, no wash cloths or used products)
