Grateful for the Lessons

I just want to take a second to say how grateful I am to The Edna House. I have learned and continue to learn so much about myself and others in the time I’ve been here. Things like how to be a friend and have healthy relationships, how to care for someone else in their time of need and not be so selfish. I learned how to be a team player. Edna has taught me how to project myself to have confidence. It’s showed me how to be acceptable, and to take pride in being responsible.

All of the things I do here I will take with me as I move out and on with my journey. I know in my heart that if I wouldn’t have come here I’d be dead or in jail, miserable.

I’ve had the privilege to witness so many blessings here. Not only for myself but countless other women. Edna has had such a profound impact on my life and I will hold this place close to my heart. I hope one day that I’ll be able to give back the way all of the women here do for me. Thank you so very much.
