The Edna Boutique
It is with heavy hearts that the Edna Boutique announces it has received a “Notice to Terminate Tenancy” at our location on W. 65th effective no later than May 30th. We are saddened by this news as our resale shop is so vital to our mission at The Edna House for Women, as well as the community it serves. Please let us know if you know of any storefronts within walking distance…in Gordon Square/Detroit Shoreway. A HUGE Flash Sale is planned to heavily reduce our inventory. Questions? Call 216.281.7751. Thanks so much for your continued support and prayers!
The Edna Boutique is located at 1908 West 65th Street, just south of Gordon Square. All Proceeds directly benefit the Edna House for Women, and also allow our residents to gain real life experience as part of our Job Skills Development Program.
On November 2, 2013 we first opened our doors to give life to what Edna House Residents have always called “The Edna Boutique.” Over the years, our supporters have kept a steady stream of clothing and household items to benefit our residents. When someone would compliment one of us on an outfit, we would retort, “It’s from the Edna Boutique!” meaning that it was something we were able to put together from donations. Today, items donated by our supporters that cannot be directly used by our current residents are sold at the Boutique to raise funds to continue our mission of helping women recover from alcohol and drug addiction.
Along with our resale shop, we also have Serenity Shop items for sale with recovery themed clothing and gifts, jewelry, books and coins, and Edna House apparel to show your Edna Pride! Come visit our shop today!
